i picked up a vg30dett and he compression tested it, ans he gave me a ecu off another engine, one of the turbos was a bit stuck.. but that happens sometimes when they sit, i freed it up.. it ran good and the compression numbers he gave were pretty accurate. but that was my experience, and it was only once.. so ya never know..
