Just trying to see if there are people actually getting away with using the 600hp ones as there’s a big cost difference between the 600 and 900hp ones.

This is a 600hp SR20 S14 that has a race weight of 2750 and uses a 26x10 ET Street bias ply tire.
The setup that seems to be the best compromise between price and benefit is the R230 differential with modified stub shafts and 350z axles or a R230 with the Q45 and 300ZX TT axle.

I've personally seen the latter make it until the 1200HP mark.

If it were me and we were ignoring the cost I'd do the IRS 8.8 in a heart beat because it solves every issue at once.
