The upper intake (runner half) is exactly the same, in fact (other than the missing butterflies in the S14, but my '93 S13 didn't have them either).

The heater hose and vacuum line routing is actually the biggest headache difference between the lower intakes (plenum half). I have a modified S14 lower intake I was going to use in my S13 but I couldn't get it to work without using S14 heater hoses and vacuum manifold. I didn't want to delete all that stuff or track down what I was missing so I just went back to my S13 plenum. The IACV, throttle body (with TPS), and EGR all swap over.

The S13 cams aren't so aggressive that it makes any difference. You can even go a step beyond S13 cams to something like BC Stage 2 264s without a tune and it'll run safely (but a tune obviously will take advantage of the extra flow).
