lets talk about common turbo sizes used for moderate power.
A real basic upgrade for the ca18 is the oem sr20det retop turbo. believe it is a ar.64 but some clain ar.80? i highly doubt it is but lets talk facts about this turbo and its potential on the ca serries engines.
It has been said that 230'ish wheel hp is achievable with this turbo on ca18 engine on SAFE boost levels(12psi). max on it is 15 so you can see why i stated SAFE.
Suporting mods consist of;
full exhaust/bolt ons
intake
fmic
and adequate bov
boost controller/wastegate
also i wanted to get an idea of everyones set up here on this ca18 faq. so state what you are running and what problems you had for instalation, weather using ca parts or sr parts. ALSO, i'm asking if everyone who posts here can provide any dyno results with pics if possible.
