One word of advice, if you can, buy the car yourself from a site like this one:
Japanese used cars. | tradecarview.com Then JCI (shakken) it yourself and you'll save about 2K+. I've bought several cars through here and haven't had a problem. If not, at least you can see what kind of cars are out here in Japan. GL!
