respect to all the OG's here. As someone who was late to the schassis world, I still read build threads on here weekly, much preferred to IG like others have said. Good to see that zilvia is still kicking.

I love variettas!!! Its one of those cars that I would feel really good in cruising around with drop top.... Beats out a miata and the s15 interior is pretty nice too!
what are your plans

Just logged in for the hell of it to see if Zilvia is alive. Wow, so many familiar names!
Haven't had an S-chassis in almost two decades but at least I'm back in a RWD daily ![]() ![]()

At this point it kind of feels like a miata . The DE is slow as hell and the top is kind of loud when driving. Final Konnexion kit, Wisesquare varietta wing, ganadors, 18" T5R rears and Manual DET swap next. But Ima enjoy it while its stock and automatic for a couple of months

Here is the link to my FOR SALE thread from 10 years ago. (pics are long gone)
$3500.00 https://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=567229 Reminds me of when I moved out of WA state in 2003. I sold my 2 Door Datsun 510 with rebuild 2.2L and weber carb for $1800.00 I just never place much value on money or material things. |

I know I'm reviving this a little bit, how ever anyone still got links on the group buys? I think now we might get a little more out of them with current members and current economical events? I might be shooting a little high but a close mouth dont get fed.

What's the oldest post on Zilvia?
I was randomly searching stuff up and a Driftworks forum thread link came up with the timestamp "19y" Obviously the number is just going to keep climbing as time goes by but back in the day when I was browsing the forums more often I was so used to seeing "old posts" with 7-8 years as the max and now all of a sudden we're hitting the 19y+ mark?? Lmao Also can an OG start a Zilvia podcast? I burn through and absorb Sileighty Mania podcasts the same day they're put out. |

The way I see it, if someone is going to spend $20k on a 240SX, I'd rather spend that $20k for a bone stock 1998 180SX kouki for about the same price which isn't beat to crap. It already has a sr20det in it, no dash cracks, the factory oem aero kit etc. Most Japanese sports cars (not the drift crowd) are well cared for and owned by older mature owners. The only gotcha is possible rust damage.
