s13 exhaust help

i have
-s13 SOHC
-hotshot headers
-megan racing test pipe
-stock exhaust

I want to install my apexi 3'' but the guy that sold me the car said the measurements got messed up bc the test pipe is longer so is gonna make the exhauts to stick out more, plus the hangers are not aligned together....

if i put in a regular cat would this fix the problem? or anyone know if this is bc hotshot headers run longer?

ask me questions if im not explaining myself...
thanks

put it on. it wont hurt anything. if nothing else, just cut whatever is the extra length on the test pipe and re weld on the flange

why not buy the proper test pipe, or for that matter an actual catalytic converter. You can find test pipes for like $50.
