spun my camry
i was gettin on the freeway tonight on one of those S-shaped on ramps, and i guess i was goin a little too fast and the back end came out. i counter steered and hit the brakes once i was going the right direction, then i let off the brakes to stop sliding and almost did a complete 360. i started rolling back, so once i was going slow enough i hit the brakes again to stop. luckily there was no one behind me for a ways or that woulda been the end of my car.
now the weird thing is, i've been driving my car on a twisty road to and from work every day for the last five weeks, with it being rainy at least half the days. i do push the car, but i've never lost traction like that. even screwing around in a parking lot to find the limits, the worst i've made it to is understeer. i would never have expected that car to oversteer like that.
+1 for track experience or i would have just stood on the brakes and not countersteered and flew off the on ramp down a hill into the creek or something.
