Scariest day of my life
So the scariest thing happened to me yesterday. I have 2 sons and my youngest is about to turn 3 in a couple weeks. I'm going to be gone for work purposes when his birthday rolls around so my wife and I decided to go to Disneyland with acouple family members for his birthday yesterday. It was pretty miserable because it was so damn packed but my kids were having fun and thats all that mattered to me. Well, later in the evening, it was already dark and a crowd was starting to gather where we were at for one of the parades. It got so busy that my oldest son (still only 4) disappeared in a crowd of people. We immediately started panicking. We searched for a good 15 minutes with still no luck. Finally we reported to an employee there and they got on their little radio to see if anyone found him. THANK GOD someone did. I guess some lady found him by himself playing with a sticker or something and decided to take him to lost and found. We got there and we was just playing calmly with his sticker like nothing had happened. When I asked him if he was scared, he just looked at me like I was crazy and answered simply "no". Well, lesson learned. I think from now on I'm gonna put tracking devices on my kids. Maybe that'll keep a bad parent like me in check.
...OK...you can flame on about how bad of a father I am now...
