escaping from the way of the dumped ride
maaaaaaaaaaan I just came to the realization...
having an incredibly dumped car is freaken stupid. its ricey. especially if you drive your car every day. its just freaken so stupid. it rides like ass. doesnt handle well. scrape on everything. bad axle angle (I think?). my car used to be dumped as crap (nearly tucking 15's in the front, tucking in the back). I raised my car up and am soooo much happier. better ride, better overall performance... better everything. The only thing I sacrificed imho was looks, and I dont mind not looking like a ricer. I honestly say I enjoy ![]() lol I'm not hating, just am more or less renouncing my faith in extreme slammitude. have fun driving! ![]() |

show me a pic of what you consider rice as far as ride height...if you have good dampers you can be low and have a good ride..but to me a stiff ride is good..it's why I drive a sports car...

lol yeah I am on the megan race coilovers. I know that if you have some of the more baller coilovers out there, then you can do that.
even so... if you ride where you constantly have to avoid small bumps in the road and have to go at a 1degree angle across speedbumps, its still stupid. drift king (and well... every other true racer) says that you should have your suspension up to handle the best while still compensating for the little bumps in the road. of course I am not talking about strictly racing on a smooth track. lol yay! basically going off of this: rice: choosing looks over, or in such a manner that it adversely affects, performance. |

run at least 17s and dump it. You won't complain as much.

I think most of us have been guilty of coming to sites like this one, seeing cars with their tires tucked inside the wells and doing the obvious (lowering the car) to get 'the look' then drive pogo sticks on the freeway.
As already mentioned many of us neglect the details (adjustable arms and suspension work) to get the car riding smooth. Gotta look tight first... damn priorities. I know I have in the past. |

i completely agree with you!!! people just want to super slam their cars and dont even care about camber issues... I remember after i got all new multi link suspension and and alignment, car felt sooo much nicer and smooth!! not to mention it just glides out there on the track..
