Before I buy a set of wheels, I want to make sure what size tires will actually fit.

I have 2 options:

1. Nismo GT2 17x7JJ
Would 225 or 235's fit on these wheels?

2. BNR32 GT-R 16x8 (stock)
What is the maximum width that can be fitted on these?

Thanks in advance for your time!

I have 225's on 7" rims, no problems. That is about as wide as you can go safely and without losing sidewall stiffness.
With an 8" rim I wouldn't go above above a 245.

Hope that helps.

Actually 215 would be the optimum size. You can do 225 but it isn't ideal. Alot of it depends on the tire itself. For example, Kumho 225s tend to run smaller then say Bridgestone REs..
