Need Help Getting Speedometer to Work...already searched

Ok so heres the deal, i have a 93 240 with Redtop. The speedometer is a digital and worked before the swap. Now it will turn on but just read 0 all the time. I've narrowed down that its not the sensor itself because I checked the resistance and it went up and down with speed, so its not the sensor. I really think its just a wiring problem.

The 2 wires coming out of the vss are Green and Black. Now their are 5 plugs to choose from....
1) Yellow/blue and Black
2) Green/orange and Black
3) Green/white and Green/blue
4) Yellow/red and Black
5) Yellow/Blue and Yellow/black

I'm 90% certain its #5 because by looking up in the FSM it showed the 2 wires coming off of the HeadsUP Display unit going to the VSS as Y/L and Y/B. (the L in Y/Lis light blue, correct???).

I really didn't hook it up very good to this plug but it still didn't work. I'm thinking its either I didn't hook it up good enough or their is another gap in the wire somewhere between the plug and HUD display unit.

Before I dice up my harness even more, please help if you know how to figure this out....thanks

L = Blue. B = Black. LB = Light Blue.

Maybe your cluster is broken. HUDs do that sometimes.
