I'm going to install a Ka240de into my '90 Ka24e, and I'm aware that I'll need engine, wiring harnes, computer, tach and power steering resovior from the donor car.
The thing is, my car is a stick shift.
Does it matter if the donor car has an autmatic transmission? Will the wiring be the same?
Is the ka24de ECU different from manual to automatic?
Also, if there is anything else that I might need that I did not mention here, please feel free to bring to my attention.
Thank you all. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

Your going to swap out a turboed ka24e engine for a turboed ka24de engine? &nbsp;I'm confused...technically there is no such thing as a ka24(d)et, it would be ka24(d)e-t or ka24(d)e+t.

Did you throw that extra "t" in there by mistake?

It all makes sense without the extra "t" there. &nbsp; But if it is supposed to be there then you are one lucky guy with a boat load of 240sx turboed engines...
