hey i cant afford anything right now... soo ive got a fully built sr20 that im not going to even put to work... but heres what im looking for.. i have a stock t25 thats got some shaft play.. so im looking for the cheapest way to have a new reliable turbo, so im looking for any one that knows a place that will rebuild it, or rebuild it with larger t28 internals...

To have the T-25 rebuilt...you might as well go find yourself a used T-28. Rebuild kits for the T-25 are cheap, if you do it yourself. IIRC, theyre like $60for a full rebuild kit.

t28 rebuild kit?

do they make them for the t28 too? i got one from a sunny. the turbo doesn't boost for shit so i'm wondering if it's the turbo. i checked for leaks but to no avail.

what are the typical indications your turbo is blown? mine doesn't show much shaft play, but there is some, little bit.

also

any advice on a completely frozen c-clip? i needed to rotate the housing before to mate the turbo with the sr20 and my settup. i ended up just tapping the housing instead of releasing the clips.

but wait...

could rotating the housing like that have effed my turbo?

dunno. i'll try swapping a t25 in this weekend.

thanks in advance.
