why wont it stop turning on?
so i have my harness all set up the way i think its supposed to go but...i connect the batter and the car turns over (aka im not turning the key) what wires do i have fucked up? please help i need to get this son of a whore running!!!

Please be mindful of your language. Your post is PG-13 for now but just keep in mind that mods may step in and pink you any time for R+ posts.
With regards to your problem, make absolutely sure that you did not wire the starter incorrectly. Also check your ignition switch for faulty operation. It sounds like you crossed the starter signal with constant power so the starter thinks you're always cranking. |

yea check and double check the wiring it has to be something giving it constant power to the starter, which will toast the starter and ur flywheel if u let it go on for too long

well the only thing i have done differently is connect the ground from the battery to the intake manifold and thats when i started having this problem if i take the ground off i get nothing....im so f-ing confused but yeah what did u do to fix ur problem?

Is the ground wire connected to the chassis to? I had issues with my turbo timer wiring coming loose and touching each other. so when i hooked up the battery, it would just start cranking. I also had issues with the main power wire for the starter coming loose and touching the connection on teh starter motor.

i dont have a turbo timer yet...the starter wirers are all torqued down

come on guys i know someone has to know something!!! it doesnt crank over when i connect the battery, if i dont ground the wire to the intak mani..
