Metal gaskets - exhaust manifold inlet

This is hardly rocket science, but I've never worked with metal gaskets before. Can I just prep the mating surface with brake cleaner and slap these metal gaskets on or do I need a thin coat of copper rtv? This is pertaining to the inlet and outlet gaskets on a stock t25 turbo.

Thanks.

rtv = death on exhaust side.

Best thing you could do.

New hardware on the the exhaust studs, and get a new die to clean up the studs.
