I have a problem with my 89 240sx where my washer pump motor is not working for my washer fluid. Upon looking at the wiring diagram, I noticed the light green wire coming from the fuse goes to the wiper motors and the washer motor and supply a constant 12V. When I checked the 12V coming to the washer motor, it was not there.

I also noticed that there was a Wiper Amp connected to the circuit. I have no idea what it does and where it is located.. can anyone help?

Also, this may be a stupid question, but how do I activate my washer fluid for the front wiper system? I think you just pull the handle towards you on the right side of the steering wheel. My washer fluid has never worked, so I have no idea how it is supposed to work.

i have the sma eproblem on my '91, you pull it foeward to activate it, but mine just fizzles out, not to worryed about fixing it though, it is just a washer... <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hmmm.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hmmm:'>

i got the same problem and its really anoying when a bird craps on your windshield  and you hit you wipers and it just smears it. I have no idea where to begin because my back washer works and I think I hear the pump running but when I hit the front I hear nothing, I thought they would run off the same pump but now I'm stumped.

Does anyone know where this Wiper Amp is located in the car?  I am talking about the front wiper system.
