How do you dispose of old motors?
Sup Guys, I was wondering after you do the engine swap , how do you get rid of your old motors? Is there engine disposal services available?

Thanks for the quick reply guys. Actually my motor is dead. Not sure what blew , but something did and all kinds of oil smoke was everywhere. I tried to take off the cams but I failed at that

definitely. How much does a KA head weigh? Aluminium goes for a pretty good price at the scrap yard. Get a couple of those and money!

sell it to the scrap metal shop they'll pay for it but you wont get much out of it.

First, strip everything worth salvage and selling off of it, if the engine is fucked, be as liberally hamfisted as you know how to be in getting it apart, sell all aluminum to recyclers, make some money off of it. Sell the oil pan/manifolds and all accessories not currently in use on the forums, some wag will pay good enough money and shipping for it all.
EVERYTHING that can't be sold should be taken to Wal Mart am and duly deposited into the dumpster by yourself and 2-5 large friends. |
