spending 5 bills on leather...but what seats?!

Ok guys... the leather on my s14 front seats is cracking. I have a guy who will recover them in my leather of choice for 5 bills.

I know, its kinda expensive on STOCK seats, but i DONT want to go w/ racing seats as they aren't very practical for daily driving(unless i drop a grand on bride reclines) and i MUST HAVE LEATHER.

Are there any suggestions as to alternative seats that i can have recovered in leather? Maybe something a little more comfy or with a lil more bolster than my stock s14 seats?

I even considered using some cloth s14 seats, but i think they are TOO SOFT and would probably rip the leather with all that flexing....IDEAS?
thanks

Adjustable bucket seat. -holds you in, unlike crappy stock seats, and its reclinable for long drives...

The general choices of seats are Z33, R32,33,34 as upgrades from S14 seats. But I dont think any of those come in leather. Maybe Z33.

thank you for the reply without flaming! The R32,33,34 are too expensive for what you get imo. I usually see those go for 600 a pair...CRAZY!!

I'll look into the z33 seats though. They seemed a little large, but i'll look again.

Also, if i can get them for a decent price, i dont care if they are pink! I'll have them recovered myself. I suppose recardo or bride reclineables that are worn to hell would be my dream as i could have them recovered....but i don't think that will happen.... :-(

upholstry places can usually add padding and bolstering to your stock s14 seats. might cost more. damn i can never remember wasnt there just a pic somewhere of an s14 with bolstered up stock seats covered in like beige and black two tone? that was hot.

I actually have a set of no-name racing seats. They actually feel GREAT and i wish i could use them....I'm just afraid of their safety in a daily driver...

Is that fear valid or are no-name racing seats as strong as factory seats?

my friends 350z seats dont hold that well. I LOVE the way the gt-r seats feel, wrap them in leather and you're golden, just wait till you find a deal on one.

some ppl say nonames are wack, some people say theyre fine... I just buy quality shit or stay OEM.

THeres a lot of "what ifs" that can happen in an accident. Most likely its not going to kill you becuase you had knock off seats, but theres always that outside chance.

I had the EVO seats in my car and they sit too high. I had them mounted on stock rails. So no go on them even though they are a cool seat to have. Maybe STI is a lower sitting seat.

Just buy a set of used s14 le seats...

MUCH cheaper than having yours redone.

Leather isn't my cup of tea...

Go Bride. It's worth every penny.
