With i/h/e you should be able to get into the high 15s but that is average (do you have a auto? ) But from what I have heard that is about where you will be at. Sounds like you had a good time though and that ::to me anyway:: is what going to the track is all about

well i have a stick

thinking about new plugs and wires(suggestions welcome)

and maybe a msd ignition...(but prolly not)

well i am expecting a custom exhaust by at least wednseday

i am not sure about wether i should get a k&n drop in or an injen intake w or w/o the cai

cant afford a hotshot header, so need another good option for an affordable header with as much performance that can be expected out of a cheap header!!

and maybe replacing the pullys with some light weight pullys

and yes i had a blast...

Civickilla had the MSD ignition system and it added 9hp on his dyno run ::KA:: I thought that was damn impressive. Maybe the results will be as good for you.

well, I belive the stock 1/4 is around 16.5(depending on driver and location), so I think you're dead on....of course, you should feel pretty good, because the people who test out the cars are pretty much professionals...

I went one of the local tracks(crappy) this last friday as well. 15.8, which really sucks for me, because I did better the last time I went, (to a different, better track), and this time I know my car is faster...yet I got a slower time? crappy tires, crappy track. I raced a SI, which ran 15.5, and he said at the different track, he was running 15.3, and he has cams this time, so he agreed that the track is a little slow(no traction).

can't wait to go to the better track again, I was really expecting 15.3ish.

WOW. I am really impressed, I didnt know a KA engine will run 16.5 stock. I seriosly thought they would run low 18's. But now that I hear that they can do mid 16's, I am happy now. One I get a good lsd, i will go straight to the track and see whats up. But now I am wondering, what will a stock SR run? My cousin said that he saw an SR and he saw it run a 15 flat. And my cousin said that the car didnt seem stock either. I might sound wrong but I seriosly think that an even stock SR can do better than 15's. Peace

I ran a 16.2 with just intake. I suck at teh drag racing though. I would expect you to be in the 15's for sure if you were running those mods :dunno:

Dayamn, PSI240, I need to tell that to my cousin. That means that the dude with the SR was either lying, didnt know how to drive, or was on crack. See, I knew that was just straight up rediculous. But PSI, do you still have the time slip for that race? So, I can show my cousin. hell be surprised because he has an Audi S4. And they are crazy, and he is crazy. Thanks man, Peace all.

Evil S14A ran a 15.3 with just an exhaust here in Indy early on in the season. It all depends on the driver.
