Electric Fans

Has anyone used some electric fans from the auto parts store and made a shroud out of some aluminum or anything? I'm talking like 2 $70 dollar fans or something like that.

If anyone has post some pics!

If you want cheap electric fans the Ford Taurus (Can't remember which year) flow like 3400 cfm and those Autozone one flow like 1200cfm.

Something cool I found.

Yeah, I know all about the fans that people have used before. Just looking for another option to see if I can make a shround myself. Or something along those lines.

Use the altima fans. They are cheap, require 5 minutes of trimming and one of the connectors connects right up. Then you just wire the other one. Altima fans=Money TTTTIIIMMMMEE I used them out of a 96 and paid 40 bucks

Beside that I strongly believe in clutch fans you can go to the junkyard and just look at everycar with stock e fans. Try and stick with domestics since we cant figure out how to develop a proper cooling system(unlike those dinky ass Hondas)

why not just use something that is known to work, cheaper, less time consuming....because unless your going full show, i dont think those aluminum shrouds will do anything more than the taurus fan persay....just go with the taurus fan....i have no second thoughts about mine.

Rocking AC fans are awesome. I was contemplating making a shroud, but the fans were a bit small, and didn't want to limit airflow.
