s13 Exhaust Smacking Floorboard Help

Just wanted to know if anyone else has had this same problem. I have a s13 coupe with a blacktop sr20 with greddy turbo elbow, 3" flex downpipe, cat delete pipe, and apexi noir exhaust. The problem I am having is the exhaust is hitting on the floorboard where the drivers side right rear seat stud is, the exhaust is literally less than 1/2 an inch away from the body. I bought the nismo exhaust hangers and it seems like it made it worse by keeping the exhaust closer to the bottom of the car. Does anyone know what I can do to remedy this? Maybe try to bend the hangers? Thanks

Mine used to hit up by the pedals.

Hey, I've got the same exhaust, and yeah right behind the first muffler I noticed that I'm hitting a little bit - basically whenever I swing a hard right, or slide through a right hand drift, it hits the floorboard. I only noticed it happening after I actually attached the hanger right by the rear axle.

I'm guessing it's the hanger at the very back that angles the exhaust a little bit. I'm not too worried about it, I've got bigger issues (car's low enough to scrape the downpipe, muffler, and piping, and it's all pretty tucked). Nice exhaust though, huh?

So I am not the only one with this problem then.....new exhaust hangers don't help huh......

The exhaust hit the seats stud like crazy especially during rainy days....the car will just be idling at the light, but the exhaust rattles like an exhaust hanger is missing.....drives me nuts.....

I have an Apex N1 btw.

I had a problem with mine bouncing off the driveshaft 1pc and sounding like it was hitting under the car. Sure it's not the shaft?

But it's not the bolt that is coming out right? It's the bolt seating that is coming out, but if you cut it, you wouldn't be able to put new bolts in anymore, no?

I HAVE THE NISMO MOTOR MOUNTS AND TRANNY MOUNT, AND I HAVE ALREADY CUT THE BOLT OFF. IT ESPECIALLY HITS WHEN THE ROAD STARTS GETTING A LITTLE BUMPY AND WHEN I DRIVE THE CANYON HOME IT HITS WHEN I MAKE RIGHT TURNS. MAYBE I AM GOIN TO TRY AND BEND THE EXHAUST HANGERS A LITTLE BIT, I ALSO HAVE TEIN SUPER DRIFT COILOVERS AND THEY ARE SUPER STIFF SO I AM SURE THAT DOES NOT HELP. BTW THE NOIR EXHAUST IS AWESOME! SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS

allright what i ended up doing is loosening the exhaust from the turbo elbow to the beginning of the apexi exhaust and there was play in the downpipe and cat delete pipe bolts, where the nuts and bolts attach the holes for the bolts on the pipes were much larger than the diameter of the bolts so i loosened it up and moved the exhaust in the direction away from the floorboard and it fixed the banging by about 98%
