What's the advantage of using this fuel filter over the oem fuel filter? I can understand more gas flow, but how much more performance wise?

I bought my 93 about 6 weeks ago. It has 125,000 miles on it. The engine is in pretty good shape considering its age. I tend to run it a little hard, and I don't want to fuck it up. So I figured I'd take it in to get some work done on it, get all fixed up so it runs great.

My question is what would be the best thing to do? I don't have a shitload of money, and I want to have an idea of what I should have done so I don't go to a mechanic and he tries to dick me over.

Do the "yearly tuneup." Keep track of what mileage you replace stuff and keep it in your glovebox, so you can keep up on maintenence. This can all be bought at your FLAPS, www.courtesypars.com, or your dealer.
A fuel filter from a z32 300zx
New plug wires (www.pdm-racing.com has good deals)
New plugs
Change fluids
Check the coolant and replace the thermostat, KA's don't like heat
Rotor and distributor cap
Clean on throttle body with carb cleaner

All I can think og, good luck. You can do all the labor yourself. This was a good first job to get me comfortable with my car.
