My engine light would do the same thing sometimes (k24e). But it would turn off after i changed my oil then come back. I would check and i would always get a code 45, leaky injector until i changed my fuel filter, then it came on once then never came back.

Stupid leaky Injector code. Changed the Fuel filter on my dual cam and it did the same shit. Leaky injector code is usually caused by a dirty fuel filter i guess? or at least in my cases.

Go check your fault codes on your ECU and see what it comes up with.

i had the same problem, and it was a leaky injector. but if you dont really give a shit and you just want the light gone for smog, just pop it out cause its obd1 and only visual.

it could be a number of things.... it could also be that you did not tighten the gas cap properly... something went wrong w/ your o2 sensor... etc....

just best to check the light codes the ecu
