IVe heard this topic dicussed a few times. But for people who have experince in the swap. Does the front clip have 1500 dollars worth of parts that you need for the swap? I have heard many conflicting things and i was just curious what experiences yall have had
sean edit: engine tranny package meaning one what would come with S13 Red Top SR20DET Includes all electronics and ignition parts, uncut harness.

If you really know or ready to do the swap, then you shouldn't ask that question, if you do then buy the clip...
The good thing about the clip: complete harness ignitor chip Stock Intercooler + bypass valve MAF stock air box radiator + Fan shroud Pipe for intercooler Can you make your own engine harness ? Do you know how much the Ignitor chip cost ? (very expensive) Do you want to keep the stock recirculation valve + intercooler? Are you going to run stock MAF or Z32 with AFC? |

A good engine swap kit should have all the parts less intercooler for you to complete you swap. IE. Motor(complete) trans, computer, ignitor, UN-CUT wiring harness and usually MAF. AS lots of question before you buy........

I only know of one place that will get you everything you ask for. That's heavythrottle. Even that's not always gauranteed. I can't even start to list the reasons to pick a clip over a motorset. BUY A CLIP! |

If your from southern cali try www.neishlinmotors.com , they specialize in sr's. I called them monday to see about a price. They said for the whole front clip installed would be 4300$. which is a lot but might be worth it cuz some engines they get have 14,000+, i was quoted for an engine with 24,000 miles....peace

i was just looking around being curious running the KA or SR debate in my head. seems like adecent turbo/fuel management kit peiced together runs along 2 grand. i was just trying to get idea of what a Basic SR deal could run.
i think im just trying to find the cheapest or easist way to have a turbo in my 240 sean so the extra money is Well worth it for the front clip....thanks for you input sean
