rb20 in s13

serious sic of this garbage i have been tryin to get my rb20det running for months but everytime i goto crank the car the computer power shuts off(i know this but the little red light on the ecu) mind u though i have fule pump ,computer power, starter,
and rad fan all on toggle switches i have a feeling that the computer needs a certain voltage anyone who every put a rb20 in a s13 i need your help the car is all done now except this shit

u still need to power ignition, and give the computer the start signal.

Doing the RB20 swap in a S13 was cake for me (4 years ago lol). I even used the RB lower harness. Maybe you should send the harness out to someone to do for you and look for another ecu. Check racebread.com for info on the wiring. I followed the steps by CarlH and mine fired right up.

not the same source, the Ignition It's own toggle switch, and the start signal suppose to get spliced into the Ignition Switch "Start" 12V

check out the write ups he liked you to. they should clear things up for you

ok ok heres what i did(rember that computer power and starter are off toggle switches) i wired the the ignition relay to the starter (like instructed) when i say starter i mean the starter signal wire (skiny wire) then the the ecu memory and ignition power to a 12V SOURSE now when i go crank my car the computer still turns off

i honestly truly appreciate any help thank you very much

its kinda hard to explain to you what to do with electrical, I rewired my car from scratch and did a similar set up to yours exept Im using the OEM Ignition switch with push start. look at my Chassis rewiring thread i have the wiring diagrams right there.

try using seatch next time alright. if u keep doing this you will get flamed allot. only reason they dun do it now. cause well RB isn;t the specialty on zilvia but we have quite a few people with RB.
