Anybody know a good place in SoCal or anywhere near, that does turbo rebuilds for a decent price? Thanks.

I bought my rebuild kit from them and did it myself and took the turbine wheel/shaft and compressor wheel and had them balance it, but they rebuild turbo's to if you dont wanna do it yourself.

I paid like $70-75 for the rebuid kit and another $30-$35 for the balance.

Oh nice, was the rebuild process a pain? I'm new to that so i don't know if i would actually be able to do it!

Not so bad but you need to have the proper tools to do it, you will end up customizing our own tools to take it apart trust me so hopefully you have a grinder amoungst other things and some PB blaster...do a search under my name and DIY turbo rebuild or something liek that. I started to do a write up on it but stoped but it list every tools I had to use to do the job and some pictures.

The hardest part is gonna be removing the turbine housing from teh center section becasue its usually a bitch to remove the bolts.

Well i check out that link you sent me, would you happen to know how much it would be for them to rebuild it?

I wanna say about $250 - $300
