![]() I noticed while turning my crank that the distributor was kinda shimmying as it turned.
When I took it out this is what I got; ![]() Sheared in half above the O-ring if you can't see in the picture. What the heck would cause damage like that? Is the dizzy from the fwd kade(plenty of those at the junkyard, no 240s) work as a replacement?

Damn twenty views and no response. Well I have found a new dizzy so no need to answer that question. Does any one have an explanation for damage like this?

I've cracked one all the way around before. I was trying to get the head off m y parts car, and was in a hurry, and well, I forgot to pull the bottom dizzy bolt out, and basically did the same thing all the way around it.
