Ran into Problem Taking off Steering Wheel...

I got my OEM wheel pulled off and right after you see that Yellow SRS Airbag sticker with the black arrow.

Well, there's also a clip coming out of it which leads 2 to more clips that go to Airbag and Horn and I believe...

Only problem is this clip won't allow me to stick my NRG hub on since it's in the way

Anyone ran into this problem? Also my NRG hub has 2 gold prongs on the back which looks like it does nothing

Thanks, yeah I removed the clockspring assembly with the yellow tape

Here's a pic of the clockspring with the yellow SRS stuff on it:

You can see the 2 clips that are attached to it, I've removed the assembly and disconnected the wire to it all together. Now I have no idea what to do with that dangling wire

Also, here's my hub:

[

I have no idea what the 2 prong things are for... they do nothing. I also don't get why the back of it is greased up, it doesn't even touch any surface when I stuck it on

Here's the front side of the hub. It has 2 wires on it, you can see one wire with a male connector and there's another wire with a female connector. What do these wires do/connect to?

All of those contacts are for a horn. That brass looking piece with the grease on it is for the horn also. It's like one big contact when you turn your wheel. Figure out which OEM parts to keep on there while using the hub adapter or no more horn.

Yeah I had the same problem and couldn't figure it out. So now I have no horn and the SRS airbag light just blinks. I don't care about the horn since I don't drive the car very much and will eventually remove the light bulb for the SRS light.

You have to pull out the plugs from the hub to get it to fit on and you'll have to custom wire the horn in if you want it to work. (all this has been covered before)

Edit: NRG hubs suck for the S14

Which plugs are you referring to?

Those two pins are for the turn signal cancel, but for S13s. The S14 uses a completely different type of cancel. One of those sites like importnut.com has a good writeup on what's required.
