hey guys, well, im gona be getting a tat really soon.. but the thing is i want it to involve the nissan silvia logo, name, anything related to nissan or boost. whoever could post the best pic, i will get it tatted and posted here on Zilvia... i was trying to get the logo from nissansilvia.com but i can get a good enough pic of there logo. well whos got the best pic?

well, its not just because i love the car.. its kinda a memorial to a buddy of mine that passed in iraq. it was his dream to have a silvia and i just wanted it as a memory fact rather then the car itself.

If thats the case do what you want, but starting a thread asking for the best picture to tattoo a Silvia logo on yourself is something that seems A LOT less meaningful than getting a tattoo in memory of a lost one.

well actually im not looking for the BEST silvia picture, i miss guided yall..sorry.. i just wanted a simple s15 lightning bolt. before i got my s14, wed always talk about one of us getting one and when he passed, i purchased one and doing some stuff we planned to do if either one got an s14. thats kinda the meaning behing it. success is comming through and my 1jz s14 should be powered up this month.. i was also wondering if anyone else had done it before " get a nissan tattoo"..

im going to assume this is ur first tattoo cuz ur first one u dont care what u get and it seems like that. first, where do u plan to put this. second, is it worth it (when u have kids and they ask about it, would u be embarassed about it?). third, it is NEVER a good idea to ask random ppl to make a design for u unless its the artist (if u talk to ur artist, he will laugh at u and most likely decline to offer his services of inking u). fourth, who do u plan to get this done by? is he/she reputable? did u talk to them yet about ideas? did u make an appointment? do u have enough money? usually most ppl/ good artists charge by the hour and they do around 150+ per hour and depending on size ull end up spending about 300 including tip.
to be honest, i dont think u really thought this out and u should not get inked yet. do some research and find a good place and think about it long and hard and talk to them.

as someone getting ready to complete their tattoo apprenticeship, i beg you, dont do it! i was completeing rudimentary tattoos like that a week into my training. your first tattoo should be a work of art man. get on the ball. if you want to celebrate nissan, at least get a full backpiece of an s13/s14/whatever it is @ full lock with the ass end hangin out. colorbombed of course. DO IT BIG. MAKE IT A CHALLENGE. ANY SELF-RESPECTING ARTIST WELCOMES A CHALLENGE

you know what the sad part is? most shops would say "yeah, ill do it for $60" $60 at least...jack&dianes in gulfport mississippi would charge you @ least $100 because "its colored" and they would spend almost an hour drilling on you. me? i would charge you $30 ($40 if it was larger) and have it done in about 15-20. chrome effect and all...
