hey kids!... here i am again causing up a storm. ok i was just wondering if this would be ok on my SR20DET: my neighbor and i both build up cars sick like, except i build the Nissans, Toyotas and he builds up the Hondas and Mitsus... hehe sorta. yeah so anyway he had a REAL tanabe medailon exhaust with the 2.5" piping catback, blah, blah, blah, on his integra and it sounded clean. i mean it was deep and it pissed off the older neighbors. well for an experiment we bought one of those fake tanabe ones (you know, they look like tanabes but they're not... i call em Wannabe.. er.. whatever. check at ebay. they're like 45 bucks) and we had some muffler shop add a 2.5" piping on it too. the piping was close enough to the Tanabe's pipins but im not sure about the catback part. they both sounded the sam and when i drove the car (its an automatic LS/VTEC, dont ask, dont hate, its a nice car) the performance on both exhausts sounded the same.. the Medalion was just louder.

is there a difference between the FAKE exhausts and the REAL exhausts even if i change the piping? cuz the Blitz exhaust is nice but costs way............ too much. i was thinking of building one for myself using good sh!t. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

lol i hope ur not buying ur exhaust based on the "the performance on both exhausts sounded the same" statement, first off i hope you meant that it gave the same amout of power, but i dunno do wat you like its ur money and if ur happy with a shop doing the piping and getting ur own muffler, then do that
