I originally planned to put a S14 Sr20DET in my 91 240sx but lately I have had many people tell me to think about putting a 300zx twin turbo engine in my 240. Obviously it would be more horsepower stock but how hard would this swap be? Has it been done before?
Please advise?

To answer your question, it's extremely difficult (to the point of futility), and those people that have told you to consider it have no idea what they're talking about.

I have a feeling these people don't know what they are talking about.
I don't even know if that monster will fit. It looks pretty tight in a 300zx.
Just buying a Z32TT would be much more feasible.
Of course, I too am an idiot, so take that with a grain of salt.
