my year has two different distributor caps and i don't know which one i'm supposed to buy. the first time i changed it, when i first got my car a few years ago, the guy at the auto parts store said is it a mitsubishi? and i'm like...no man it's a nissan 240sx. he said there's a hitachi and a mitsubishi distributor. so i ran out to my car and looked and got the right one. well it's time to change it again except on the distributor it doesn't have a mitsubishi or hitachi logo on the distributor at all. only a number one. i thought i'd ask before i pull up to the auto parts store and start ripping off plug wires and the distributor.

If your distributor rotor has wings on the side of it then its a Hitachi. If your rotor is pretty much straight without wings then its a Mistubishi.
