I just got my sr20det red top and it doesnt have a Maf. I wonder if i can z32 Maf in instead of the stock SR Maf. Will it start? Will idle? and last do i need a tune if i put it in?

You will have to tune for the Z32 MAF, best bet if you don't have a tuning device, or don't want to pay for a tuned ECU, is to get a working SOHC KA MAF and the pigtail from the SOHC MAF. S13 SR's run fine with it with no tuning, you just have to wire in the SOHC maf pigtail.

sorry im new wat is a pig tail? is that the wires?

yea go to the junk yard and pull a maf off a 89 240sx
