What else do I need to reach my goal of 420whp?

Ok so I think my car has everything needed to get me to my goal of 400 whp except for the turbo.

S14 with late model blacktop SR20DET
Here is a list of related mods:

ARP Headstuds
Cosworth 1.1mm Head Gasket
BC Valve Springs
Denso 550cc Injectors <--- Will swap out for 740's or 850's.
Sard FPR
Walboro Fuel Pump
Megan Turbo Outlet
Blitz 3" Downpipe
3" Test Pipe with HKS Super Drager 95mm Exhaust
HKS Type S FMIC
HKS SSQ BOV
Greddy Profec B
Apexi Power FC L-Jetro
Z32 MAF
Greddy Oil Pan
Nismo Thermostat
Koyo Aluminum Radiator

Coming real soon:
Water/Meth Injection
HKS Step 2 272 Cams

So with all thats listed I still need a turbo. My goal is to surpass the 400whp mark. Also, I would like to surpass this mark on a load based dyno. My true goal is a minimum of 415 - 420 whp, but anything over 400 will do, for now.

Now, Ive read of only a handfull of GT2871r's going over 400whp. Most of them are close to that mark. I need something that will definitely put me there and possibly more. Keep in mind I still have a stock block, and will do so for now. Yes, I am aware that it will come down to my tuner aswell. I trust that my tuner is skilled and will give me the best possible tune for my application. The car will see some track events next year but will remain a daily driver, for now.

What else do you guys recommend?
Which turbo would be ideal to reach my goal?
What am I missing? If anything.

with as much time as it took you to type all this up, you could have easily searched and found a bunch of turbos that will support your goal.

But i am gonna vote with jspec on the haltech.

Well, I know of which turbo will put me past my goal. I need something that is functional for a daily driver. I can easily do a 35r and be done with it. I need driveability to go with that power.

A 3071 is still bottom mount correct? So 3071 with Sard 850's will do the job? I might have to talk to Steve Shadows. Ive read good reviews about his tunes but they're a bit pricey. You get what you pay for though so Im sure its good stuff.

Other than what you have listed i would say go with
1 piece driveshaft
greddy intake manifold
larger throttle body
gt2871r
header style manifold.

you may get there with that setup. I dont know if i would push it to +400whp on stock bottom end though. Not on a daily.

Why not do a gt35? It might spool later than a gt28, but that means you would not be boosting as much when you are dd'ing your car. And for a DD, that it may help you save some gas. And when you are at on track you should also be in the higher rpm anyways, which mean you should be boosting most of the time.

3071 is a nice ass turbo for a 2 liter. GT35R is really pushing it as youll spool damn late. yeah, youll be making more than 420whp (nice number choice btw) but youll hit the majority of boost at like 4800-5000

My vote goes to GT3071R.

BTW... why do you want to stay bottom mount? Top mount makes removal SO much easier... Manifolds are pretty cheap and I bet you can find a used DP...

So far Im leaning towards a GT3071R. Only reason Im trying to stay bottom mount is because of the cops around here. I might be ordering my turbo soon. Just have to get a new PowerFC from Apexi since mine came defective. Thanks for the input guys.
