Almost done with swap... few questions

Okay, so I'm like 90% done with the swap I'd say. Just wanted to clarify a few things since I'm taking a break until tomorrow night.

1) Does anyone have a *clear* explanation of how the vacuum lines are supposed to go? I used Heavy Throttle's guide, which differs from my friend's SR setup, which differs from a unmolested JDM 180SX Front Cut sitting in the garage. So I'm not really sure how its all supposed to go. We have it going like this at the moment (I think):

Top of throttle body, right side: to BOV (Blitz)
Top of throttle body, left side: to fuel pressure regulator (?)
Bottom of throttle body: to canister (?)

2) I'm using a Blitz BOV. Do I still need to have the stock recirc valve attached? I would assume not, but my buddy's SR has it still and he has a sheepdog BOV attached. (This is my first swap, so I'm not too familiar with how it should all go)

3) If I *am* using the aftermarket BOV, does the routing of the lines change?

4) If I don't use the recirc, then I just cap the leads for it on the IC and the air intake, correct?

That's about all I can think of for now.. everything else seems gravy.

Speaking of my friend's SR install, a lot of people have been telling me it blows balls (Was done by a shop in the SF Bay Area that shall remain nameless). He has some serious problems with the car dying at random moments (usually when slowing down), and it backfires like crazy. Any ideas on what might be causing such issues?

Anyhow, thanks in advance for any help, and if anyone has any tips for me now that I'm nearing the home strech, ya might as well give 'em to me... that harness is gonna be a pain the ass...
