s13/s14 interchange tophat question

noob question...

This is kinda new to me.. as far as i know the front shocks are same for s13 s14 but the rears.. the top hats have a different diameter.

So is it possible to take the top hats off of my s13 stock shocks and put them on s14 aftermarket ones?

They will fit fine on the shock, but not the chassis. Are you trying to put S14 rear shocks on an S13? Won't work either, shock is too long.

The only way to make it work would be to redrill the holes in the shock tower, and that would only be to replace the existing ones, not to put different shocks on the car.
