Truly need some help!!
ok, not too long ago, i noticed that when my car is warmed up, it starts to jerk like back and forth when im driving, and when i press the gas peddle, it doesnt go. the rev meter goes up but im getting no speed..... but if i keep flooring it, it jerks a little more and it eventually kicks in and pick up speed........ Ive been told it could be my fuel filter. i think it has something to do with the drivetrain.
Ive been to 2 mechanics and both of them said "it could be anything" thats true but i really do want to find out what it could be because its ****ing me off!! any help would be appreciated. |

You need to be more specific.
"the rev meter goes up but im getting no speed" Does this mean the car does not accelerate, or it accelerates slowly? If the engine revs but the car does not move, then your clutch is dead (manual) or you have transmission problems (automatic). If the engine accelerates, but poorly, and coughs/sputters, that is most likely a fuel system problem. |

i say
run a ecu diagnostic replace your O2 sensor if needed replace your fuel filter replace your air filter check your plugs and wires just do basic maintenance stuff and go from there. gotta go one step at at time good luck mechanics suck. |
