Redtop SR20DET swap problems HELP!

Just finished the SR swap. Spent over a year rebuilding the engine and of course, now I have a problem. Filled up all the fluids, plugged in all the connections and check the grounds. unplugged the CAS and cranked for a while to lube it up and while it cranks it has a distinct hissing sound, which I think might be a valve not sealing properly. Maybe due to the timing chain being off by a link or two. Also, when I actually cranked it it just ground to a halt, like the starter solenoid didn't retract itself. Any way to check its functionality?

I dont know whats going on, but what I do know is that I shouldn't be cranking it after hearing these noises. There are links to the videos below. Someone help!

And I had this thread posted on 240sx.org for three days and NO ONE has any ideas. Or they just don't care. Somebody hook me up with some advice por favor!

I'll check the CAS, but honestly, I don't think that's the problem. I mean it idled for about 10 seconds and I don't think it would have done that if the CAS were out of position, right?

I'll double check though

its possible for it to idle some. I would definitely pop off the valve cover like others had said.

this is the only part of your post that scares me, are you sure it was the starter?

No I'm not sure. that's why it's freaking me out. But when there were no spark plugs, and therefore, no compression, I could crank it and it turned like a dream. And I listened closely for any valvetrain noise and didn't hear any. And I took another video of it today and posted it up again. The more and more that happnes the more that I think the starter is the culprit. Here's the link

if you watch that you'll see what I mean. It wants to run so bad. But there was a lot of smoke. I'm hoping that was from the 750cc injectors and the stock ECU just running super rich. It definitely wasn't white smoke like a head gasket.
