Exhaust leak, when the car is cold put your hand around the turbo inlet flange that meets the exhaust manifold. (make sure you havve heat shields off to do this). Your T25 inlet gasket is bad most likely. Get a new one from nissan, off any year 91+ 300zx TT

well if it "comes on" as you say it does then it may be a fan or your ac clutch kicking in and ticking or something...

Put your face over the manifold and sniff, if you smell fumes bad, you know you at least have a blown gasket.

But on a other forum a guy writes that:

re your vid, it sounds like the aircon is switching on and off - sure you don't have it running? Either that or the thermo fan is coming on for some other reason?

Don't quote me on this but it could be your VTC sprocket or Solenoid going. Try reving your engine more like blip on the throttle and you should hear you VTC click. Quite often these things will make a rattle at first then eventually a continous rattle; usually a sign of the VTC failing/worn and time for a change. I had to change mine, the rattle was so bad it sounded like a rod knock. New VTC isn't cheap, they go for $500. Most guys with S14 motors usually ditch the VTC and just install aggressive cams with adjustable cam gears or just use the S13 cams along with S13 sprocket/bolt (intake side) to disable the VTC in total.

i tryed it out today, the click come with ca 60 sec spaces, the fan on the radiator starts when the click comes and goes out right after ( 3 sec ca )

i tryed it out by pressing the A/C button, then i waited for ca 2 min/120sec nothing, pressed the A/C button and then it startet right after...

what can this be, something with the A/C that have to be bleeded or what... dont now anything about A/C`
