Just swapping the subframe complete and removing the lines/pump is a good 2-3 hour job. Easy with common hand tools, helpful if you have air.

I'm getting ready to do this swap as well. as far as I know the only parts you need are:
-Rear NON-Hicas rear subframe -Rear toe control arms What I dont know is how to deal with the Hicas pump. Does the pump use power steering fluid? What do i have to do to delete the pump, plug some hoses or something? Do I need a non hicas power steering pump/brake booster? |

The pump does not use power steering fluid. Please don't assume that. ATF only. Power steering fluid is NOT TO BE USED in any Nissan vehicle, anywhere. Deleting the pump will eliminate your power steering altogether, if that's your plan then do it. Otherwise you either disassemble the HICAS pump and remove the vains in the secondary portion, or buy and install a non HICAS pump and bracket. The brake booster is the same as an auto unit, you don't have to swap it unless you're bored.
