s14 auto to manual swap

i have a 1995 240sx, got this car for free cuz my sis got a new car so she gave it to me. i was wondering if doing a tranny change is cheaper than buying another 240sx and what the price range for this...

It's about $600-$800 for the swap, depending on the mileage, shipping, who you got the stuff from, if you pieced it together, ect.
You can save money by finding a junkyard car and stripping it, or searching classifieds for a while. Also.. it's probably 8 hours of shop-labor if you can't do it yourself.
Yea.. it's cheaper than buying a new car.
