where in queens are you from...
megans are decent im sure you'll hear varying opinions.. Stance GR+, PBM, and a few others get a little more respect near that price range. |

Ok, when you have money to order megans...wait two weeks for your next check to come and order stance.
Or you could get BC racing. but yeah stance is only like 200-300 bucks more and are worth it imo.

Nope, nobody here has ever used Megan Racing coilovers. Nope, nobody, ever.
You should totally buy a set and be the pioneer that gets the credit for writing the first ever review of Megan Racing coilovers for the 240SX. |

Megans are good for the price, I can vouch. My neighbor down the street before he crashed his fastback had em and Ive driven on em. If people say they suck then thats them, Ive hardly ever heard of a Megan blowing, neither a stance. PBM on the other hand will blow, a friend of mine destroyed his pretty fast.

I like my megans on my 350z, but if you are looking for a stiff coilover, they are not. I drifted on them and it felt good because I had the power to work with the roll, but if they were on a lower powered car, I would probably get pretty frustrated.
My 2 cents.

Megan = (((poor quality))), untested, ripoffs of other coils, made in china or taiwan (i forget) there ok, but not cool for the money. my cuz has em. and had them rebuilt once due to loss of damping force, and also has coil bind even after repeatedly removing them and checking them.. all within a years time personally i think megan is budget crap.... save up and get some tein basics their almost the same price and their a quality product... ![]() |

I have recently just installed a set of S13 Megan Tracks on my car. To my surprise, they aren't bad at all. A bit rough with the 12k/10k springs, but it still decent. I wouldn't pay full price for these, i got mine for a deal.
They ride just fine, daily and track imo.

![]() not to be a jerk but in what way do they suck ive had em for 4 years and never had an issue. the only con is lack of adjustability but since they share the design in the tein ss they can be revalved to accomodate an adjusting valve... besides they specialize in suspension.... your not gonna go to a hamburger place and ask for a taco lol

i got megans streets for a real good price kinda wished i paid a little more and went with KTS
didn't feel like much of a difference from tien type HE drift spec(12k/10k), the megans feel a little softer 8k/6k

megans are soft on softest setting. great for bumpy roads like in queens so you wont feel like ur car is falling apart at 8/6 springrates. buy used , rebuild is so cheap, 100$ a shock and u can just rebuild it urself by taking apart the collars and mounts.
cons, they are low end crappy coilovers, anyone drifting wont ever be happy with them for long and will eventually upgrade. but for daily and slamming their just fine. i tried track and street megans. |
