Unhappy fuel pump won't work need help

I just installed an sr20 in my car and it will crank over it wont get gas or spark, i fallowed the wiring diagram from frsport and the one thing I came across was the the part where you use the ka plugs on the sr harness all the wires mached expet the fuel pump regulater it’s the one with the black wire with the pink strip the ka plug had it but the sr did. I hooked it up to a 12v wire. Is there anything else it could be I realy need help on this. thanks

Engine is only grounded through that little wire, you're cooking it. I assume you didn't ground the battery cable to the plenum, or the alternator case to the chassis. You need those too.

The black/pink fuel pump wire on the underhood plug is a signal wire, ground trigger. Not voltage.

Black/Pink goes to Black/Pink. It's a signal wire that is ground out via the ECU. The other end goes to the fuel pump relay.
