FS: 1995 240sx sr20det + other goodies *PRICE DROP*
Well school is coming up, and it's time to focus on whats important and let the car go. Car is located in Buffalo, NY. Its my weekend car so it gets driven once or twice a week if that, and has been pretty well cared for. Just passed NYS inspection ~2 weeks ago when it was in for an alignment. This is my 5th 240sx and I feel its the most "complete" one I've owned, and if you're looking for a well rounded car here it is!
Car has been dyno tuned on a Mustang dyno (yes, the one that reads low) and made 255whp and 260wtrq with the hi-flo cat on 93 octane fuel, I will post the graph later it is nice and smooth! This is backed up by a 1/4 mile time of 13.3@109 on a 2.3 60', this car will go 12's easy on a good launch. Boost is 17psi. In the past 2 years I have also replaced valve cover gasket, speedometer, coolant temp sensor, dipstick, turbo studs, all turbo gaskets, s15 multilayer exhaust manifold gasket, and rear caliper with new OEM parts. All mods have less than 2 years on them as well, minus the coilovers which I bought used. Has some small paint chips on the front bumper. Driver fender has 2 cracks that I would be willing to have taken car of depending on the selling price of the car (got a quote of $200 to fix). No dents whatsoever on the rest of the body. Looking for $9,000 obo. Would consider trades, at the moment i'd be interested in an is300, early '00 bmw 330 or a '98-01 impreza 2.5rs. Must be manual trans, type of trade depends on condition of car obviously, I'm not going to trade straight up for a '98 impreza with 180k miles on it ![]() 1995 Nissan 240sx (OBDI for you guys that have to worry about inspections) Chassis has 135k miles on it, clean title Exterior: Resprayed Honda Grand Prix White ~3 yrs ago -s15 front end conversion -OEM s15 headlights, fiberglass fenders/hood/bumper -Aerocatch hood latches -Xenith Xenons 6k HID -Navan Rear spoiler -rear skirts (unknown brand) -i DO have some sideskirts, but I didn't like them so they are currently off the car, but will be included, look to be Veilside "style", they are also painted white to match the car *the "burn" on the bumper is from when it ran catless, since the hi-flo cat was put on it hasn't gotten any worse at all Interior: Grey seats/carpert/headliner with Black dash/interior panels -SE white face gauge cluster -Personal Fittipaldi steering wheel -Momo Hub / NRG Quick release -black leather w/red stitching ebrake/shifter boot and center armrest cover from Shift boot store - RedlineGoods leather shift boots Mods: Engine - SR20DET Redtop, compression is all between 150-160 Greddy LS Spec FMIC Greddy Turbo Extension (o2 housing) Greddy Turbo inlet/outlet Trust 3" Downpipe Garrett OEM s14 t28 ball-bearing turbo w/ -AN oil/coolant lines HKS wastegate actuator Enjuku Racing hot pipe w/ Tial BOV (black) Espelir 3" Catback Nismo 555cc injectors Sard adjustable FPR w/ gauge Walbro 255 fuel pump Nismo Thermostat Koyo Aluminum Radiator Catco Hi-flo cat Flex-a-lite dual electric fans Samco radiator hoses (black) Moroso catch can *car does have power steering, A/C was removed* Drivetrain: 5 speed, no grinds / clunks shifts smooth OEM s13 vlsd 1 piece driveshaft from fleetpride ACT street/strip clutch - xtreme pressure plate w/full face disc Redline MT-90 Trans fluid Suspension: Tein Flex coilovers Tein Inner and Outer tie rods Battle Version Rear Upper Control Arms Nismo Powerbrace Brakes: Front - OEM z32 (300zx) 4 piston calipers / Rotors redrilled for 4 lug w/stainless brake lines , PBR pads Rear - new rotors / ceramic pads from Napa ATE Superblue brake fluid Electronics: Apexi Power FC D-jetro (converted from MAF to MAP) w/ Commander DIF Dual Fan controller HKS Turbo timer (type 0) Defi BF Boost gauge Optima redtop battery, mounted in the trunk (battery box) Rims/Tires: 5zigen FN01RC "hot version"(silver) 17x9 +19 w/ 225/45 Nankang NS-1 tires with pretty much full tread all around ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() [IMG] ![]() ![]() [IMG] ![]() ** new info** kinda forgot about this....... but the swap and all the body work were done by Solo Customs over in Ohio. I still have the receipts from the previous owner, which total over $6000 in labor for the swap and the paint job labor/supplies/fitting s15 conversion parts. No hack job here folks ![]() *******OPTION**********: I've been getting alot of people saying they like the car but just don't have the $ for it, so if someone is serious I can swap out the powerfc and injectors for the stock ecu/injectors/maf and sell the car for $7500 FIRM the car will not need a retune, I will set the boost pressure back down to 8psi and it will drive just as a stock sr20det with intake/exhaust would. Yea, trust me I'm selling it for alot less than it cost in parts lol Not to mention the paint job and labor etc..... definitely cheaper to buy one already done if thats the way your looking at it. Thanks for the compliments though guys

Yes, it sits flush around the top and bottom of headlights. That gap between the middle of the bumper and the hood is the design of the bumper
*edit* here ya go.... you can see the headlights are flush, the only gap really is along the hood that you also see in this pic. s15 headlights have a "rubber" weatherstripping kind of piece along the top of them which makes a good seal ![]() |

bump for jay..
i've been in this car, it's mechanically 100% solid.... as another dude mentioned all it needs is to round-out the aero and it's tip-top. Jay always takes care of his cars and drives them like a girl ![]() It's only borrowed cars that he beats on. |

haha thanks Bing. In this case, I'll take the comment about driving like a girl as a compliment :P

Also wanted to throw out another option:
would there be anyone interested in the car at a lower price, say back on the stock ecu/injectors running stock boost to be safe? Its something I could do if someone was serious enough about it, everything is still pretty much plug and play so it wouldn't take too much effort. |
