![]() So I went to buy some car cleaning stuff and heard mother clay bar works wonders.
Well 1/2 a car done later and a sore arms that about to fall off the diffrence is amazing! My old dull black paint looks new and is glassy shinny and doesn't feel like sand paper anymore! It's acually smooth to the touch and is USDM bliing! So all in all I high recomend this to anyone. Unless you drive a vw |

Yes clay bars are the sh1t. Combining them with wax polish and a good wash your car will look amazing. I have a before and after picture of my car on my computer somewhere i'll look for it. The before picture shows the car pretty dirty not washing it for like a month then the after picture is after clay bar, washing, polishing and waxing, it was such a difference.

I'm sure to everyone else this pic the paint will look exaclty the same as my other pics but me owning the car of course in person the diffrence is amazing. I only have this half of the car done so far w/ no polish or wax yet. I kinda did a half assed job with the clay bar too.

the mother's clay bar has been a total waste of $10 for me, so far. I bought it to try and remove paint overspray thats all over my car, it didn't work at all.

clay bars remove grit and contaminants from paint, not paint. if you're trying to remove overspray, try a light buffing compound, the mild abrasive in it should be enough.

In a big yellow stripe across the packaging it reads:
"Removes paint over-spray, fallout and other stubborn contaminants"

dude, did you suffer some front end damage? from the last pic it looks like your passenger side corner and headlights don't line up correctly.

The best is how smooth and "soft" the paint feels when it's all done.

ok, spray area with a lubricant (mine came with Showtime Instant Detailer) (do not use water) glide clay bar over area. back and forth motion using light pressure. apply lubricant to maintain wetness. Feel the area, continue clay bar action till it is sooth. wipe off excess lubricant with towel. apply wax sorry, i don't feel like typing the complete instructions, but you get the cliffs note version =p
