engine harness question HELP!

What's up guys I was looking into having my harness converted for my redtop swap. But before I do it my buddy has a engine harness from his black top. What's the differences in the harness's ? Can I use a black top harness for my red top? And which ecu wud I have to use. Oh ya and the car is a 96. Thanks

You can use a blacktop harness for your redtop, although you will still need to use the redtop ecu

^ those helped me out alot, also there is a guide on ebay you can buy for like 20 bucks that tells you step by step exactly what to do :P

Nothing feels as good as when you redo your harness yourself and knowing its done right...

and of course this link is expired just like 95% of the others ive found. and the 5% that do work absolutely suck at explaining anything
