For those that have made their own gauge pods.
I tried making one yesterday with about 21ga. aluminum but I pretty much failed. I was trying to cut out the hole with tin snips in a star patter and pull back the metal to help support the gauge. When you made your pod did you support the gauge in any way, or did you just cut the hole and push it through?
