this car is worth WAY more and just needs new R+P? good excuse to upgrade (either TRD or richmond gear are both great choices in any ratio!)
i sold my old 86 for the same price and it didnt have half of the stuff this ones comes with!

man this is tempting even for me! stock s14 or a ready to rip 86?!?!

Lee,

Ive had this problem before and when I took the whole diff it apart, the bearings and ring and pinnion were okay. What it was is that the main bolt behind the driveshaft on the diff was loose! When that bolt is loose, the pinnion gear will slide back and forth at the diff and make whining sounds or clunks. Check to see if that bolt is loose, and make sure the tab is bent in so it wont get loose again. I hope its just that easy fix..
