yeah I never understood why they even bothered putting BMW in there if they were only gonna put one car in. and it was the regular 3 series too. at LEAST they coulda put the M3 in or something. but I guess it was licensed to the N4S series...

I am pretty sure that list is fake, it popped in a brazil mag. There might be that many cars, but I highly doubt they will not include a 180sx or silvia. They had 3 s13s last game. CA18 s13, and sr20 s13, and a 240sx which was really a 180sx. How can they go down to a sil-80.

Wow, that's a huge list.

I don't think that it's all real though, but if it is I wonder how they are going to put a 2000 Mitsubishi GTO TT in it, since they stopped making them in 1999.

I'll believe it when I see it, but I have to say I'm having a pretty hard time putting any faith in that list.

I remember reading that one of the reasons Digital Polyphony seriously cut down on the amount of cars in GT3 (as compared to GT2) was that they wanted fewer cars that looked better, as opposed to many cars with so-so graphics.

I can't imagine that GT4 is going to look worse that GT3 from a graphics standpoint, and the capabilities of the PS2 haven't changed, so unless Digital has found a much better way to compress their car model data or something, I'd tend to believe that list is faked.

I was just really confused on the faces...like you were saying that I was whining because they said 2000 instead of 1999 or something..so I was like HUH? But yeah..i was on the 3si forums until their butt-ramming admin banned me, but oh well.

I really don't like the 3000gt/steath anymore whatsoever, after being on the site I realized what hunks of crap they are - I just said that as to the honorability towards that list..as they never made a 2000 3/S.

oooh, nah, i was just showing that i was upset because i still like VR4s. im glad i couldnt afford one at the time i was buying though cuz i definitely ended up with a better machine. but yea, i see what youre saying.

500+ cars has already been confirmed, just not which cars they will be. were talking about the (alleged) choice of cars here, not amount.

i dont think theyd take out 180SX and trueno, as AE86 Trueno is one of the most popular cars in japan, and 180SX was soo popular that it sold for 10 years over there. the list has to be fake.

So obviously Digital Polyphony found a way to cram that many cars into the game without sacrificing graphics. That's awesome!

And I agree with you. There's no way in hell they'd leave out either of the cars you mentioned.

yep that list is pretty much fake, they cant leave s13s out. and when my friend looked at it, he said there are no civics either, so u know thats BS. but on ign.com, they did a feature and said that there will be close to 500 cars in gt4 . which im so glad to hear, cuz the car selection in gt3 sucked. oh and that gt4 will emphasize historic cars a little more woohoo!

They did and they actually look three times better than GT3. They said they scrapped the GT3 models and completely redid all the cars. Check it out at ign.com.
